Cheapest Creatine
A simple site that lists out creatine products to compare prices and highlight the best value option.
cheapestcreatine.comCreatine monohydrate is a commodity, so when I buy it I only care about cost per kilogram. Rather than repeatedly checking prices, I thought why not make a small single-page app that automatically updates, compares value, and links directly to the products.
It even has a built-in business model through the Amazon Associates program, which I see as a straightforward, value-added use of affiliate links rather than the typical purely-promotional approach. It also gives me an opportunity to practice SEO by creating clear, in-depth content about creatine alongside the application.
The project is built with TypeScript, React, and Next.js, using a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon.
